And you may ask yourself, is this my tropical paradise?

After arriving in Grenada, we quickly got the boat set up in a marina and boarded a plane for Virginia.  The Texas Campbells, Northwest Provants, and Caribe Provants triangulated on Harrisonburg to celebrate Chris's graduation from college. It was strange but familiar to be back in east coast traffic. We enjoyed a long stay in the Virginia farm country, and it was fantastic to have the family around Chris as he takes his next big step. In a few days, Chris will head west to Oregon. There, he'll search the Northwest for a job, lifestyle, and place that feels right, and we know he is excited to get out in the real world. Many thanks to the folks at Silver Lake B&B and the Sowers for hosting us while in Virginia.

Now back in Grenada, we are taking a couple weeks to complete projects on the boat. Over the course of the past sailing season, the list has grown long. We wouldn't want you to think it's all beaches and Coronas down here, so take a look.  Some of these things are simple and take an hour, others can take days. A common phrase down here is: "Cruising is fixing a boat in paradise."

Later this week, our niece, Jaden, will join us for a few weeks of fun in the Grenadines.  In July, we'll haul Iolair out of the water and return to the States until November, when the hurricane season is over.
