Storms, Friends, 2020, and Island Dentistry - Antigua Part 2
- Great hiking near Shirley Heights
- Ahoy Contigo (Ed, Jody, Amanda), Majestic Dreams (Skip and Louise), and Wild Bird (Tim and Gale)
- Windsurfing with kiteboarders in Nonsuch Bay
- Emergency dental visit to a local dentist...infected tooth. Better now, but it is only a matter of time before that tooth is pulled out
- New Year's Eve: started with crepes on Iolair, and ended on a megayacht in English Harbor; Tim and Gale had friends who captain a yacht and, being between guests, invited us for the celebration
- Super winds locked us down in Falmouth Bay for almost a week. We filled our water tanks with rainwater in a 1/2 hour, wind gusts reached 45 knots in the bay. Sometimes there is nothing better than a good, protected anchorage.
- Back in St Bart's we meet a special Canadian family (The Harris Crew) traveling with 3 awesome kids ranging from 7 to 11. They are in their first season sailing and homeschooling, and we ran into them again in English Harbor, talking to the winners of a crazy cross Atlantic rowing race. Check them out on instagram (@hello.harriscrew). What a fantastic adventure they have begun. We really enjoyed hanging out playing fussball, and hope our tacks will cross again.
