8:00 AM: Not much wildlife to report

7:00 PM: Just north of Cape Caution, lots of salmon jumping
Day 10: Millbrook Cove - Around Cape Caution - Across Queen Charlotte Strait - Port Alexander, Nigei Island - 37 miles, dense fog
7:00 AM: Groups of river otters and sea otters in River's Inlet, 300 feet deep, several miles from shore.
8:00 AM: Dense fog on Queen Charlotte, visibility was under 1/4 mile. Large groups of loons floating on the glassy water, 10 miles from shore
Day 11: Port Alexander to Port McNiel, Vancouver Island - 40 miles
11:00 AM: Sea Otters in the protected waters around Port Alexander. They seem very used to boats as they stare at us while floating on their backs.
4:00 PM: Tucked into a slip in the harbor. For a couple of days we will provision the boat, do some laundry, do some engine maintenance, and relax. South from here we travel waterways we have been through several times, including one of the nastiest, Johnston Strait.
