Extreme Wealth in quaint St Barts

• the largest private yachts and support boats we've seen converged on St Barts for Christmas - several over 300 feet long
• a town full of luxury restaurants and boutiques
• the marine park at the northern end of the island was fantastic and we stayed for 7 days
• friendly goats and tortoises
• enjoyed Christmas here on the beach with newly found British and French friends
• Aboard Wild Bird, Tim, Gale, Pip, and Gem (the last two being Patterdale terriers) were great company and are long term Caribbean sailors. I know we will cross their path again soon.
• Overnight sail with Wild Bird back to Antigua to join friends for New Year's Eve
• Autopilot died and sent us in several random circles on the open ocean. Flipper to the rescue.
