Finally pointed North

Let's see.  Just when we thought we were ready the toilet started flooding seawater on the floor.  Next morning we tried to leave the slip and the transmission shifter broke. Walked to Deer Harbor Boatworks and our new friend Michael had the part. 6  hours later we actually made it out of Deer Harbor. Rewarded with Orcas breaching, sky hoping, and flopping in front of Mt. Baker. A couple of humpback whales crossed in front of us as we made into Prevost Bay on Stuart Island. Canadian customs is just a few miles north.  What a gorgeous day. Oh, and Jay didn't eat us.
