Left Ketchikan for a clockwise rounding of Prince of Wales Island (POW). It will take about 4 weeks if we get some good weather for layover days. This might be as remote as it gets here is SE AK. It is not a well charted area and very few cruising boats explore here. We met a nice fellow that fishes here and he gave me some good anchorages. First night was at the Dall Bay Marine Park. Quiet and peaceful spot. Lots of salmon jumping but exactly zero landed on the boat. My time will come.
